Ptarmigan operated in Tallinn from 2011-2014. We no longer maintain any presence in Tallinn, but this website will continue to serve as an archive of the activities produced at Ptarmigan during these years.
What is protest and what can it be? What role does language play in disobedience? How can you engage in radical change today? What rights do youth have as community, national and world citizen?
Join Amal Laala and Karim Galenius to find out and discuss how art and creativity can be used as a form of resistance in society, the work/school environment and your daily life. In an open workshop and discussion we will collectively examine problems we face in society (no matter how big or small) and communicate these through artistic actions.
15 pm All are welcome to discuss:
How can youth feel included as active political members in society? How to gain attention of the decision makers? How do you make an intervention in public space? How can we increase youth consciousness so they will be politically active and at same time keep the initiative in their hands?
