Gemma Tweedie combines video-performance and project based work along with text and photography in her visual arts practice.  Carmen C. Wong is the artistic director of DC-based banished? productions, an avant-pop collective that produces playful immersive art performances. She is currently visiting Helsinki and Europe on a Theatre Communications Group Global Connections Program travel grant. Her research includes producing a culturally-relevant version of the Futurist-inspired “TACTILE DINNER”, a hybrid food-in-performance project that aims to inject thoughtful play into the act of eating and re-frame the meaning of consumption. The travel grant will also allow her to return to Berlin, where she first got her start in interdisciplinary performance working on Constanza Macras’ & Dorky Park’s “Back to the Present” in 2003.   http://www.banishedproductions.org/
