Clip Kino Event
"'Clip Kino' events are self-organised screening events of short video clips & documentaries found online. It aims to drag aspects of normalised 'private' activity - of viewing downloaded content on one's own computer - into public space for screening, appreciation and debate. 'Media-environmental awareness' applies to include the social ecology of one's interests, desires, and attentions in one's peer-group and community."
Jon Irigoyen (ES/FI) presents….Cyberpunk
The Cyberpunk world is a dark and sinister place where computers control all aspects of human life and corporations have replaced governments. In this high tech and low life world, where urban spaces have become chaotic and violence has become the tool for survival, some people live outside of society. Lovers of freedom, physical or mental, and illegal anti-heroes move within this dystopian society, where there is a constant struggle to understand and learn that their lives are in the hands of the others.
In this projection we will present an array of information, soundtracks and images that are related to this literary trend that emerged in the '80s.
